The purpose of the foundation is the worldwide publication and dissemination of the Heidi story based on Johanna Spyri, the promotion of literature, publications and advertising measures, especially in connection with the Heidi story, as well as preservation and promotion of the authentic sites around the Heidi story. The foundation can also make contributions to the promotion of culture and the preservation of unspoilt nature and projects and institutions of all kinds that benefit children and young people in general.
